Banfield Anthem Film
In August of 2016, I stepped off the plane into Portland Oregon with only the camera gear I could fit into one backpack. The goal was to capture a real, engaging story of why people choose to work at Banfield Pet Hospital. The short brand film that came to be explores our relationships with pets and what drives veterinarians to make a difference.
It was an exciting piece for me because after a stint of many large productions, shooting run-and-gun style brought back the nostalgic memories of lugging a camera around and answering to call times before the sun had come up.
With the edit locked we moved to sound. We partnered with our friends at Dallas Audio Post to compose a custom score. The result was a neoclassical piece that leverages minimalist themes and contemplative percussion.
It was wonderful to work with such a great client, one that let us find the story to be told with the awesome people at their company.
